Help us plant 60,000 seeds across NYC.
Every $5 you give brings us 100 seeds closer to reaching our goal.

City Growers’ mission is to connect urban communities with agriculture, food, and the environment through farm education and advocacy in order to foster a culture of health and sustainability. Our educational and youth development programs connect the dots between the health of our environment and the health of our bodies for young people in New York City.

Our school garden workshops bring the farm directly to the classroom, and enhance school-day learning through hands-on activities - planting seeds, holding worms, and tasting honey made by urban honey bees. Through experiential food and farm education, we aspire to increase environmental literacy, activate critical thinking about food systems, and empower urban citizens to envision a greener and healthier future for their city and themselves. Giving youth the tools they’ll need to be aware and active citizens, and planting the seeds for the next generation.

Join us on Tuesday, November 29th in Brooklyn for #GivingTuesday. We’ll be at Arts & Letters Academy (225 Adelphi St) from 3:30pm-5:00pm with the #CGBEES saving seeds for future seasons of planting. Come learn how to save your own seeds and design your own seed packet!
