City Growers Inc. (“City Growers”) operates the website https://www.citygrowers.org (“the Site.”) This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
City Growers will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
City Growers’ policy is to protect the confidentiality of the individually identifiable information that you provide, and we limit access to that information only to those with a need to know.

If you choose to complete certain forms or send us requests, for example to schedule a workshop or register for camp, you will be asked to provide the following information: full name, street address, city, state ZIP, phone number, e-mail address, and we may ask you to indicate your role or occupation (as an educator, parent, etc.), school information, name birth date(s), allergies or medical issues, and grade(s) of child(ren), phone numbers and email addresses of emergency contacts and authorized pick ups. Because payments and donations are through third parties (PayPal and Stripe), City Growers will not see your full credit card number or banking information.
City Growers’ policy is to prohibit the unlawful disclosure of your personal information. City Growers will not release your name or otherwise publicize the fact that you purchased goods or other information to us unless: (a) you grant City Growers permission to do so; or (b) City Growers is requested or required to do so by law.
City Growers may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site, including information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. City Growers may aggregate this information to help us improve or create a better experience for users of the Site. For example, City Growers may upgrade those parts of the Site that are heavily visited.

City Growers uses Google Analytics, (a web service by Google, Inc.) to collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Site’s functionality. Google Analytics analyzes website usage information automatically upon visits to the City Growers website.
Users who do not wish to have their visit information collected by Google Analytics may opt-out by downloading a browser extension or by disabling cookies in their browser settings. Opting-out of web measurements will still permit users to access the full City Growers website, with all included information and functionality.
Third Party Sites
Because we link to social media sites and third party sites, other parties may collect your personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit this Site. Newsletter Sign Up
City Growers uses Mail Chimp to collect contact information for our mailing list and distribute communications that may relate to educational programming, organizational news, and/or fundraising. First and last name and email address are collected by City Growers and provided to Mail Chimp for this purpose. For details on how Mail Chimp may use this information, please read Mail Chimp’s privacy policy. You may opt out of this mailing list via the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every City Growers email.
Children’s Privacy
City Growers makes no active effort to collect personal information from children under the age of 13 and does not wish to receive any such information.

City Growers reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion and without sending notice to you, so you should review this Privacy Policy periodically.
