Project Leader, Green Ambassadors Program (Temporary)
The Project Leader will facilitate the Green Ambassadors pilot program, in partnership with the longtime Queens-based nonprofit, HANAC. The purpose of the Green Ambassadors pilot program is to apprentice Queens youth in urban agriculture and organic farming techniques, and allow them to share these skills with younger students in the revitalization of an underutilized garden. Afterschool Group Leader
The Afterschool Group Leader will work directly with 30 middle school youth in a DYCD-funded SONYC afterschool program with Academy of Arts & Letters in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. In this part time position, the Group Leader will lead youth in activities focused on farm-based learning, green arts and crafts, nutrition and healthy living, ecological stewardship, and urban expeditions.
