Corporate Volunteer Days

City Growers runs on Volunteers!

With limited resources, we rely on volunteers to keep City Growers learning beds lush and welcoming for our young visitors.

City Growers offers a variety of ways for Corporate Volunteers to give back to the community and team-build while enjoying open space, fresh air and spectacular views at one of the most unique places in New York City: Brooklyn Grange rooftop farms. Every project and all proceeds will directly impact New York City youth and aid us in connecting young people to nature, at no cost to them

Interested? Email info@citygrowers.org and write “Corporate Volunteer Days” in the subject line!

Our Locations

City Growers was started by the founders of Brooklyn Grange, who saw the educational potential of the rooftop farms. We are lucky to have access to these unique spaces, and invite you to join us for a day of urban farming atop one of these two farms.

Brooklyn Navy Yard

Est. 2012 | 1.5 Acres

BNY is the flagship farm and has chickens, bees and farming operations. The farm can host up to 13 volunteers.

Sunset Park

Est. 2019 | 3.2 Acres

Sunset Park is the newest, largest farm. It has a hydroponic greenhouse, indoor event space, and is handicap accessible. It can host up to 20 people.
